NOVEMBER 19, 2012 Los Angeles – Apt2B and Alpha are coming together again to create the perfect gift store just in time for the holiday season. Apt2B, the one-stop online furniture, design, and housewares store created for young, career oriented and practical new way and Alpha, the go to resource for guy’s gifts in LA with its uniquely curated inventory to guide guys and the people who love them through the challenges of loving, grooming, entertaining and surviving gracefully will set-up a holiday shop in women’s retailer, Satine, on West Third Street.
After this summer’s successful partnership in West Hollywood with the “Alpha presents Apt2B Pop-Up Shop”, the Brands have decided to join-up with a holiday gift themed pop-up to offer a variety of special merchandise from furniture to gadgets. The temporary pop-up will find its home in Jeannie Lee’s Satine boutique , in the heart of West Third Street. The space, in specially designed section of the iconic women’s retailer will be completely transformed into a gift emporium featuring apparel, gadgets, books, and home décor items from Apt2B and Alpha as well as selected furniture from Apt2B. The 6 week pop-up, which will be open Monday - Saturday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM, will allow Apt2B, Alpha, and Satine customers a one-stop shopping opportunity to find the best of the best in gifts and décor for this holiday season.
Alpha’s Darren Gold said, “During the Apt2B pop-up shop in Alpha’s old space, we realized that we share an aesthetic and customer base that appreciates (Apt2B founder) Mat and my taste level. It seemed natural to join forces and bring our customers the best of what we both had to offer.” Apt2B’s Herman added, “being named Daily Candy’s Most Inventive Start-up in their Start Small Go Big contest inspired us to continue our out-of-the-box brand expansion. We jumped at the opportunity to showcase our home furnishing and décor items within the men’s and women’s fashion world.”
The Home for the Holidays pop-up will not only offer customers exclusive in-store specials but will also allow customers the first opportunity to shop at Alpha since closing its Melrose doors in April as well as view many Apt2B products in person. This holiday season, the sum of these 2 great brands, will be greater than their parts.
The Apt2B+ Alpha Home for the Holidays pop-up will be located at 8134 W Third Street Los Angeles, , CA 90048. Beginning Nov 7 – Dec 31 store hours will be Monday -Saturday from 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
